CHAIN COUPLING
Function: Connect two rotating shafts through a chain to transmit power and compensate for slight centering deviations, suitable for scenarios with limited space or requiring flexible transmission.
Core type:
Double row roller chain coupling: consisting of two sprockets and a double row chain, it has a large torque capacity and strong impact resistance.
Universal chain coupling: allows for a large angle deviation (≤ 15 °), suitable for transmission with non parallel axes.
Key parameters:
Torque range: commonly 50-5000 N · m (e.g. model # 35 can support 150 N · m).
Shaft diameter adaptation: The aperture range is 6-150mm, and it supports keyway or clamping fixation.
Allowable deviation: Generally, the radial deviation is ≤ 0.5mm, and the angular deviation is ≤ 3 °.
Key selection points:
Calculate the torque based on the load, and it is recommended to choose a margin of 1.5 times the safety factor.
High temperature environments require the selection of heat-resistant alloy steel materials (applicable temperature ≤ 250 ℃).
Corrosive environment with stainless steel couplings or nickel plating treatment.
Typical applications: pump machine, conveyor belt, injection molding machine shaft connection.
