Leaf Heavy Duty Carbon Steel Conveyor Transmission Plate Forklift Lifting Industrial Chain Bl622, Bl623, Bl646, Bl866 Leaf Chain/Hoisting Chain/Forklift Chain
Product Description
Core Composition: Consists of multiple layers of parallel plates (typically made of high-strength alloy steel) and pins that run through the plates. Plates are rigidly connected by pins to form flexible, bendable link units.
Roller-Free Design: Unlike roller chains, leaf chains lack rollers and bushings. Instead, the plates directly engage with sprocket grooves, transmitting force through contact between the plate sides and sprockets. This design ensures a more compact structure and higher load-carrying capacity.
High Strength and Load Capacity: Manufactured from high-strength alloy steel, leaf chains feature thick plates and large-diameter pins, offering excellent tensile strength and impact toughness. They are well-suited for heavy-duty scenarios such as lifting and traction.
Structural Stability: The stacked multi-plate design distributes loads, reducing stress on individual plates and enhancing overall stability and service life.
Wear and Fatigue Resistance: Plates and pins undergo heat treatment (e.g., quenching and tempering) to strengthen their surfaces, providing superior wear resistance and fatigue resistance for frequent start-stop cycles and long-term heavy-load operation.
By Standards: Common types include those conforming to international standards (e.g., ISO 4347) and industry-specific standards, differentiated by plate size, pin diameter, and pitch. Examples include LH series (Light Heavy) and LL series (Long Link).
By Application: Divided into transmission leaf chains (for mechanical power transfer) and lifting leaf chains (specialized for heavy object lifting and traction).
Lifting and Construction Machinery: Used in lifting mechanisms of forklifts, cranes, and elevators to transmit power for heavy object hoisting.
Industrial Transmission Equipment: Employed as drive components in heavy machinery like presses and injection molding machines to transfer high torque and heavy loads.
Conveying and Traction Systems: Applied in material handling equipment in mines and ports, or traction mechanisms in agricultural machinery, adapting to heavy-load conveying needs in harsh working conditions.
